Suez wildflowers

The spicy, aromatic Lacy Germander (Teucrium laciniatumcan) can be found in the Suez, Texas area blooming profusely in May.


Texas Forsythia (Foresteria pubescens) is a familiar native shrub in the Suez, Texas area. It is highly drought tolerant and provides cover and food for animals and birds.
Texas Prickly Ash/Toothache Tree/Hercules Club is a common small tree in the Suez area. The bark was used in early times to numb a toothache and for other maladies.
